Permafrost Community: Discord, Reddit and Creators

Updated:

Quick answer: the developer-named community hub is the official Toplitz Discord (discord.gg/toplitz), the publisher's shared server that hosts the Permafrost channels. The Steam discussions board is the second active spot.

Official Discord

The Toplitz Productions Discord is explicitly named in the game's Early Access notes as the primary feedback channel. Use it for bug reports, co-op LFG, and reading developer announcements the day they happen.

Steam discussions

The Steam discussion board is where crash reports and known-issue workarounds surface first. If you hit a "GPU crash dump" or a broken quest, search there before anywhere else — and see our technical help section.

Reddit

Reddit chatter currently spreads across general survival-game and publisher threads rather than one canonical, verified subreddit. We will link a specific community here only once we have confirmed it is actually the active one — a name search alone proves nothing.

Content creators

The publisher ran a creator program around launch (keys for coverage, the pre-launch playtest waves). If you create content, the official Discord is the right place to ask about current creator onboarding — terms change per campaign and we would rather not quote stale requirements.

A note on unofficial sources

You will find several fan wikis (including this one) and Discord servers. Treat any exact numbers — recipes, drop rates, coordinates — as build-specific claims that Early Access patches can invalidate, and prefer sources that say which game version they cover.
